WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY PICNIC?
We encourage you book your picnic as soon as you have a date in mind - we host limited picnics a day and book up really quickly! We also ask that you book at least 2 weeks in advance to allow us to provide the best experience for you.
WHERE CAN I HAVE MY PICNIC?
You can have your picnic just about anywhere! We have multiple public parks to choose from when booking, or you can host your picnic in your own backyard (or indoors).
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE PICNIC PACKAGE?
We include the set up/break down, the decor, place settings (cups, plates, flatware), and a small charcuterie box (through our preferred vendor; 1 box per every 2 guests). Take a look at our packages tab to see more details!
WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED IN THE STANDARD PACKAGE?
We do not supply ice or larger meals (unless added on). However, take a look at our add-on options! We can also provide you with recommendations on where to take out or other catering options for your picnic.
WILL YOU PROVIDE FOOD?
We provide a small charcuterie box (1 for every 2 guests) and flat & sparkling water for all picnic set ups. We have a few different add-on options from larger charcuterie boards to sweet treats, otherwise we encourage you to bring your own picnic snacks.
CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD?
Absolutely! Feel free to bring your own snacks. We do offer some food add-on options that you can opt for if as well.
HOW LONG IS THE PICNIC?
The standard picnic is 2 hours long. Extra time can be purchased as an add-on.
ARE YOU PRESENT FOR THE PICNIC?
As much as we enjoy a picnic, we will give your privacy and not be present. We will set everything up and be there to greet you. If you plan on leaving early, we require 30 minutes notification to travel back to the picnic venue.
DO YOU PROVIDE ALCOHOL?
Unfortunately, we do not have alcohol available for purchase at this time. However, we welcome you to BYOB if your locations allows it. Fifty-Two Saturdays take no responsibility for any alcohol consumption or penalties incurred.
WHAT ARE ADD-ONS?
Add-ons can be purchased to enhance your picnic experience. They include larger charcuterie boxes, fun activities, mocktails, and more! Check out the packages & styles tab for more details.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS INCLEMENT WEATHER THE DAY OF MY PICNIC?
If there is inclement weather on the day of your picnic, don’t panic! We understand how unpredictable the weather can be. We can reschedule free of charge within 3 months for any available booking date. If the weather is not looking good the day of, we reserve the right to reschedule your picnic. If the weather takes a turn for the worse on the day of, we will communicate with you ASAP if we believe it’s unsafe to host the picnic that day. Our team will keep a close eye on the weather leading up to your picnic. If you choose to cancel your picnic due to inclement weather predictions, we require 48 hours notice.
WHAT LOCATIONS DO YOU SERVE?
We are currently serving all over the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia). If you have a location outside of the area, we require a mileage fee of $1 per mile that will be added to your invoice.
WHAT'S YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
We do not accept cancellations. If you reach out to us before the 48 hours, we can work with you to reschedule for another date/time. However, you will be responsible for expenses incurred until the time of rescheduling.
WHAT IF I NEED TO LEAVE EARLY?
If you want to leave before your 2 hours is up, no problem! We ask that you call or text the number that sent your confirmation/picnic location. This ensures our items are not left unattended. You are responsible for any stolen/damaged items during your two hour time window.
CAN I BRING MY DOG?
Yes! Given the location of your picnic allows dogs, feel free to bring your furry friend!
